Ordering & delivery
What is the minimum order?
One full tipper load per material (16–20 MT) for site deliveries. Smaller retail quantities are best collected ex-works.
Which areas do you deliver to?
Chennai (north and west belt), Ponneri, Gummidipoondi, Tiruvallur, Avadi and the surrounding Tiruvallur-district towns, plus Sri City, Tada, Srikalahasti and the Tirupati belt on the Andhra side. See the service-areas pages for distances and routes.
How quickly can you deliver?
Book 24–48 hours ahead so the load is scheduled against your pour. Typical loaded-truck times from the Perindesam works: Uthukottai/Tiruvallur 1.5–2.5 h, Gummidipoondi/Ponneri 2.5–3 h, North Chennai/Avadi about 3 h, traffic permitting. Contract customers get standing weekly slots.
Do you deliver inside Chennai city?
Yes, but heavy goods vehicles are restricted on the Inner Ring Road and some arterial roads between 8 AM and 9 PM. Central-city sites are scheduled at night; Madhavaram, Red Hills, Manali, Ennore, Ambattur and Avadi take daytime loads.
What truck sizes do you use?
10-wheeler tippers carrying 16–20 MT (about 18 MT typical). 12/14-wheelers or tip-trailers (25–40 MT) can be arranged for highway packages with suitable access.
Can I collect material ex-works?
Yes, by appointment with the sales desk: pickup with your own vehicles from our Perindesam crusher, Tirupati district. Loading is by weighbridge with papers issued at the gate.
Pricing, GST & papers
Are your prices per ton or per unit?
Per metric tonne on the weighbridge. One unit (100 cft) is roughly 4.1–4.5 MT of 20mm aggregate or 4.5–5 MT of M-Sand, so multiply the per-MT price by about 4.3–4.7 to compare with per-unit quotes.
What does the ex-works rate exclude?
Royalty and statutory levies, transport to your site and 5% GST. All three are shown as separate lines on the quotation and invoice.
What GST applies?
5% under HSN 2517 — CGST 2.5% + SGST 2.5% within Andhra Pradesh, or IGST 5% for supply into Tamil Nadu. Registered builders, RMC plants and contractors can claim input tax credit; please confirm with your tax adviser.
Which documents come with each load?
A weighbridge slip, a GST tax invoice, the Andhra Pradesh mineral e-transit pass and an e-way bill wherever the consignment value exceeds the statutory threshold (₹50,000 inter-state).
Is royalty included?
Royalty (AP seigniorage fee, District Mineral Foundation and MERIT contributions as applicable) is itemised separately on every invoice rather than hidden in the rate.
Do you offer credit?
Retail and spot orders are paid before dispatch. Dealers, RMC plants and established contractors can be set up on agreed credit terms against a written limit; large infrastructure buyers may use TReDS. Ask the sales desk.
Quality & standards
Are your aggregates IS 383 grade?
Coarse aggregates are produced to IS 383:2016 Table 7 gradings, M-Sand to Zone II, P-Sand to IS 1542 and GSB/WMM to MoRTH Section 400. Gradation, silt, crushing value and flakiness are tested through accredited third-party laboratories; certificates accompany every bulk contract.
Is the M-Sand washed?
Yes. Washing is the rule, not an option — the sand passes through a washing module so the dust fraction (−75 µm) is controlled and the grading stays within Zone II.
Can you match an RMC plant's mix design?
Yes. Send the target grading and fineness modulus; we hold the sand and the 20/12 mm blend to it and issue a gradation certificate per lot.
Where does the stone come from?
Our Perindesam crusher works granite from the Perindesam deposit in K.V.B. Puram mandal, Tirupati district, Andhra Pradesh, on the Chennai–Tirupati corridor — the same deposit whose rock has been source-approved for GSB, WMM and bituminous works on the Chennai Peripheral Ring Road. Partner crushers in the same belt supply the rest.
About the company
Who is M&B Chetty India?
M&B Chetty India Private Limited is the supply and trading company registered at Pallavada, Gummidipundi, Tiruvallur district. Its group company is the mining and crushing arm with works at Perindesam, Tirupati district. Both are promoted by Godugu Manisha and Kumar Baskar Chetty.
Is the crushing plant operating?
Crushed stone and M-Sand are dispatched today from our Perindesam crusher and partner crushers in the same belt; the new 250 TPH washed-sand plant is being set up for commercial operation in 2027. Capacity at the new plant is reserved for customers who commit early.
Is supply from Andhra Pradesh affected by the Tamil Nadu transport ban?
No. The Tamil Nadu order of 28 July 2026 restricts crushed stone and M-Sand leaving Tamil Nadu for three months. Material entering Tamil Nadu from Andhra Pradesh is not covered; each load carries an AP e-transit pass, GST invoice and e-way bill.
