About Palavedu
Palavedu is a village panchayat in the Villivakkam union, north of Pattabiram beside the Vandalur–Minjur Outer Ring Road, and is one of the panchayats listed in the January 2025 government order for merger into Avadi City Municipal Corporation. Its 398-acre Palavedu lake is the third largest in Avadi taluk, and its branch post office comes under Avadi IAF (600055).
