Periyasekkadu is a residential neighbourhood between Madhavaram Milk Colony and Chinnasekkadu, on the Manali side of the Madhavaram zone, and is served by the Milk Colony post office (600051). It was part of Madhavaram municipality until the 2011 merger with the Chennai Corporation and is now ward 28. Work here is mostly new independent houses, floor additions and repairs.
