Theeyambakkam is a developing residential area in ward 17 of the Manali zone, north of Kosappur and Mathur, with Andarkuppam to the east and Vadaperumbakkam to the west. It is one of four added areas, with Vadaperumbakkam, Mathur and Puzhal, where an underground sewerage scheme was started in 2024.
