About Veppampattu
Veppampattu is a suburb on the Chennai suburban West Line, about 32 km from Chennai Central, with its own station between Thiruninravur and Sevvapet Road; the CTH Road (NH716) also passes through it. In January 2025 the state ordered Veppampattu, with Perumalpattu and Nathamedu, to be combined into a new municipality. Sriram Engineering College is at neighbouring Perumalpattu, and DTCP-approved plot layouts around the station make independent houses the main new construction.
